Role Overview
We are seeking a seasoned leader in fraud prevention to safeguard revenue while facilitating secure and scalable digital operations. This pivotal role involves directing fraud prevention and chargeback management across payment and transaction platforms, ensuring robust controls, mitigating risks, and promply responding to fraudulent activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of fraud analysts and specialists to oversee fraud monitoring and chargeback processes.
- Provide detailed, actionable fraud reports and insights to support informed decision-making.
- Identify emerging fraud patterns and enhance fraud prevention mechanisms, policies, procedures, and controls.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to investigate suspicious activities, control chargeback risks, support loss mitigation strategies, and maintain operational stability.
- Contribute to the development of fraud strategies, conduct horizon scanning, and champion continuous improvements to ensure capability alignment with evolving threats, regulatory demands, and company growth objectives.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate holds a relevant degree and brings at least six years of experience in fraud prevention, fraud risk management, chargeback operations, or financial crime. Proven experience managing fraud monitoring environments, conducting complex fraud investigations, and leading teams focused on fraud detection and loss prevention is essential. Deep familiarity with fraud management systems, transaction monitoring, chargeback workflows, and risk assessment techniques is required.
