Overview
We are collaborating with a prominent AI engineering consultancy to develop an advanced Agentic AI platform for a major global enterprise. This role is a Lead Forward Deployed Engineer position focused on Python, primarily remote-based with occasional client site visits across Europe.
Key Responsibilities
As a Technical Lead, you will guide and manage development teams while collaborating closely with clients to transform their business and technical needs into practical applications. Your role involves hands-on development of the AI platform followed by deploying and tailoring solutions within client environments.
Role Details
- Remote work with occasional travel to European client sites (around 3 days every few months); company covers all travel expenses.
Requirements
- Proven commercial experience in Python programming.
- Familiarity with FastAPI is highly valued.
- Experience working with cloud infrastructure platforms and Kubernetes.
- In-depth understanding of platform and infrastructure architectures.
- Comfortable utilizing AI coding assistants such as Claude or Copilot.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for direct client engagement.
- Minimum of 2 years in a leadership capacity focusing on technical guidance and team management.
Interview Process
- Initial 30-minute screening call.
- One-hour live coding exercise.
- 45-minute interview with the hiring manager for cultural and role fit assessment.
