Role Overview

As the Lead Demand Planner at NTS Singapore, you will be pivotal in controlling the factory's production commitments—deciding what to build, when, and how to meet customer demand in a high-mix, engineer-to-order manufacturing setting. You will consolidate diverse demand signals including sales forecasts and order histories, converting these into actionable master schedules and production plans.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage continuous forecasting and Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP)/Sales & Operations Execution (S&OE) cycles across a diverse portfolio of part families.
• Convert demand data into capacity allocations and prioritize shop floor work accordingly.
• Collaborate with Sales and Scheduling teams to handle order promising and lead time estimations.
• Establish planning parameters such as safety stock levels and buffer stocks tailored for low-volume and fluctuating demand scenarios.
• Monitor forecast accuracy and proactively enhance forecasting techniques and inputs.
• Oversee master scheduling functions to ensure alignment with production capabilities.

Required Qualifications

• A minimum of five years' experience in demand and supply planning within high-mix low-volume (HMLV), job shop, or engineer-to-order (ETO) manufacturing environments.
• Strong understanding of machine shop operations or mechatronics assembly processes.
• Proficiency in ERP systems, preferably Navision; familiarity with SAP or BAAN is advantageous.
• Solid knowledge of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) fundamentals.
• Effective at leading cross-functional discussions to balance trade-offs and priorities.
