Position Overview

Job Summary

The Associate Space Planner executes directives from leadership, aligns with strategic business goals, manages vendor relationships, and develops processes to enhance store space management. The primary focus is to create and maintain quality store planograms and adjacency plans within stipulated timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Create store-specific space adjacency plans and planograms following execution guidelines.
• Utilize data analytics to allocate appropriate space to categories and assortments.
• Optimize shelf space and product placement to boost visibility and increase profitability.
• Ensure adherence to company merchandising standards.
• Support product resets, seasonal updates, and promotional display setups.
• Incorporate business context, customer decision trees, insights, and presentation architecture to design category adjacencies and planograms.
• Make informed store-specific planogram decisions leveraging data and contextual knowledge with minimal supervision.
• Deliver projects timely with the expected quality standards.
• Collaborate effectively with local and global project leads.
• Work in a team setting prioritizing collective goals over individual.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in any field.
• 0 to 2 years of relevant experience.

Essential Skills

• Excellent communication skills for clear articulation and effective coordination both locally and globally.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to leverage data, visuals, and information to make daily decisions and execute tasks.

Desired Skills

• Experience in both macro and micro space planning.
• Familiarity with Blue Yonder or JDA software platforms.
• Retail industry experience beneficial.
