Key Responsibilities

• Lead and expand large-scale AI and machine learning initiatives, managing a team to translate strategic goals into actionable projects, and leveraging emerging technologies like Generative AI and large language models to drive business value.
• Direct the design, development, deployment, and lifecycle management of predictive models—ensuring their scalability, explainability, and governance—across customer engagement journeys and enterprise systems.
• Analyze customer behavior to extract insights on life stages, affluence, and preferences, enabling segmentation, product targeting, and value-based marketing for services including Mobile, Broadband, and entertainment.
• Facilitate robust data exploration and experimentation techniques such as A/B testing and uplift modeling to optimize marketing campaigns and lifecycle strategies.
• Provide technical leadership by mentoring data scientists, instilling high standards in modeling accuracy, engineering practices, coding quality, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Engage senior executives with clear, persuasive communication of complex analytical findings to influence strategic decision-making and ensure alignment with organizational priorities.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's or postgraduate degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, or related fields, accompanied by at least 8 years of professional experience.
• Proven expertise in machine learning and statistical techniques, including linear regression, generalized linear models, time series forecasting, supervised models like gradient boosted trees and neural networks, clustering, experiment design, and causal inference.
• Experience with large language models and Generative AI, including fine-tuning, prompt engineering, performance evaluation, and security testing methods.
• Advanced skills in data processing and manipulation tools such as SQL, Python, Apache Spark, Hadoop/Hive, and Databricks; proficient in data visualization platforms like Power BI.
• The ability to apply software engineering principles including modularity, reproducibility, testing, and use of version control systems such as GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket.
• Familiarity with cloud computing environments (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud) and machine learning operational tools like MLflow and Airflow.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities to translate data into actionable business insights.
• Excellent communication skills to present findings effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• A collaborative team-oriented attitude focused on delivering outstanding customer experiences.
