Lead Analyst - Operational Technology Cybersecurity Sector Domain

Overview

The Lead Analyst in Operational Technology (OT) Cybersecurity Sector Domain serves as the primary liaison between the OT Security Operations Center (SOC) and sector stakeholders. This role facilitates communication regarding activities, decisions, and coordination between the OT SOC and the specific sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the subject matter expert for sector-specific knowledge across activities such as incident response and threat hunting.
• Coordinate collaborative efforts between the OT SOC and sector teams, including joint investigations of security incidents.
• Build and sustain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, and security and incident response teams.
• Maintain a deep awareness of global and sector-specific cybersecurity risks, compliance requirements, regulations, and standards.
• Provide support to customers and internal teams concerning cybersecurity inquiries and sector-related questionnaires.
• Represent the OT SOC as a cybersecurity thought leader and domain expert during customer and sector engagements.
• Conduct assessments to ensure compliance with cybersecurity policies and industry best practices.
• Contribute actively to identifying, managing, and mitigating cybersecurity risks.
• Support and promote internal cybersecurity training and awareness programs.

Qualifications and Skills

• Certifications such as CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) from ISC2, GIAC certifications, or other sector-relevant credentials.
• Strong leadership qualities with the ability to manage people and processes effectively.
• Proven experience in program management, including initiation, scoping, resource allocation, scheduling, budgeting, risk management, and communications.
• Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and facilitation skills.
• Strong analytical capabilities along with effective written and verbal communication.
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated team leadership and coordination skills.
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office productivity tools.
