As a Lead Threat Intelligence Analyst, you will utilize your sharp analytical and investigative capabilities to process extensive data and convert it into actionable intelligence insights. Your role encompasses conducting thorough research and analytics, collaborating on the creation of diverse analytic documentation, identifying key findings, and suggesting hypotheses, intelligence gaps, and strategic recommendations. You will regularly analyze reports to support discussions aligned with our mission and contribute to advancing the Threat Intelligence Center by innovating processes, tools, and capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, analyze, and disseminate threat intelligence from varied sources ensuring comprehensive All-Source Intelligence.
• Oversee and optimize threat intelligence platforms, vigilantly monitoring incoming data feeds for their reliability and relevance.
• Develop diverse intelligence outputs including detailed assessments, briefing materials, recommendations, and findings.
• Continuously improve operational processes to enhance the effectiveness of the cyber threat intelligence function.
• Create and validate operational templates and assist in updating Threat Intelligence Platform (TIP) processes and documentation.
• Define and revise corporate intelligence needs in response to evolving business models, priorities, and technologies.
• Distribute intelligence products like threat alerts and reports to relevant stakeholders timely and effectively.
• Support organizational situational awareness and integrate business context into active or emerging threat assessments.
• Conduct detailed intelligence evaluations to ascertain characteristics of attacks, including attribution, motivation, intent, and capabilities of threat actors.
• Drive innovative enhancements within the Threat Intelligence Center, including tools, processes, and capabilities.
• Engage in forward-looking exploration of threat intelligence developments and mentor junior analysts.

Required Skills and Experience

• Comprehensive understanding and application of the intelligence lifecycle.
• Proficiency in utilizing open source intelligence tools and methodologies.
• Expertise in intelligence gathering, analytical product creation, structured analytic methods, and argument mapping.
• Formal training in critical thinking, cyber intelligence, and cyber counterintelligence.
• Extensive familiarity with threat intelligence platforms and analytics software.
• Robust analytic tradecraft with the ability to defend analysis against alternative viewpoints.
• Strong grasp of information security threat environments including cyber-attack vectors and detection mechanisms.
• Experience in cyber threat analysis work spanning over eight years in military, government, or large corporate settings.
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written, paired with strong facilitation and interpersonal abilities.
• Demonstrated ability to quickly assimilate and conduct thorough analysis in a fast-paced environment.
• In-depth knowledge of cybercrime networks, malware analysis, and relevant threat models such as the security kill chain and diamond model.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
