Job Overview
The Lead - Administration will be responsible for overseeing a wide range of administrative functions specifically focused on facility management within an industrial setting. This role involves managing housekeeping, canteen services, transport, guest accommodations, and general office infrastructure to ensure smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise all aspects of facility management including housekeeping, canteen operations, transport services, guest house management, and office infrastructure maintenance.
- Collaborate with security personnel to maintain effective access control and site security measures.
- Ensure adherence to all statutory mandates, local laws, and internal corporate policies.
- Oversee budgeting for administrative operations, manage vendor contracts, and evaluate vendor performance to meet service levels.
- Interact with government bodies, local authorities, and regulatory agencies as necessary to keep operations compliant.
- Support employee welfare programs, engagement initiatives, and organize events at the plant location.
- Monitor upkeep of office buildings, utilities, residential accommodations, and common areas.
- Prepare and implement standard operating procedures and identify best practices for administrative processes.
- Coordinate emergency response plans and ensure business continuity protocols are in place.
- Lead efforts in cost reduction and driving operational excellence within administrative functions.
Qualifications & Experience
- A bachelor's degree in Administration, Management, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
- Postgraduate education is advantageous.
- Between 10 and 15 years of professional experience in Administration, Facility Management, or Plant Administration roles.
- Experience working within manufacturing, defence, aerospace, heavy engineering, ammunition, or similar industrial sectors is preferred.
- Proven track record in managing large-scale facilities, handling vendor agreements, and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
