About the Role
Pilgrim's Europe is seeking a Laundry Operative to join its energetic team at their Corsham site in Wiltshire. This position plays a vital support role to operational teams by ensuring that all colleagues have the correct workwear and protective clothing ready when needed, maintaining the highest standards of food safety, quality, and operational requirements. The operative receives, sorts, stores, and distributes garments supplied by the laundry contractor efficiently and accurately while upholding the food safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Manage receipt, sorting, storage, and distribution of workwear to support operational needs.
- Use the QUOR paperless quality management system to perform daily tasks, including capturing and sharing important quality data.
- Facilitate effective communication with site staff and management to support continuous improvement initiatives, specifically in food safety, legality, and quality.
- Maintaining accurate documentation and records to ensure compliance with food safety and quality regulations.
- Adapt to new working methods and technology as they emerge to enhance operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Level 2 Food Safety and HACCP certification.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with team members and management.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work well within a team environment.
Working Hours and Compensation
The position offers a balanced shift schedule from 07:00 AM to 1:00 PM, allowing you ample personal time outside work. This role offers a competitive monthly salary with the potential to earn more than £500 each week.
