Laundry Aide

About the Role

Social Circle Nursing and Rehabilitation seeks diligent and dependable Laundry Aides to join their team. Positions are available for both part-time and full-time, with working hours from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM including weekend shifts.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather soiled linens from designated areas.
• Sort linens according to type and washing instructions.
• Load and unload washing machines efficiently.
• Operate dryers by loading and unloading laundry.
• Fold and hang residents' personal clothing items carefully.
• Store and deliver personal garments to the appropriate residents.
• Maintain clear and effective communication with colleagues, facility staff, administration, and Lucent management.
• Alert the laundry operations director when supplies or materials are running low.
• Conduct daily inspections of the laundry area and report any equipment malfunctions or damage.
• Ensure laundry spaces are clean and disinfected regularly.
• Participate in staff meetings and mandatory in-service training sessions as required by management.
• Meet or exceed the performance standards established by the facility and Lucent upper management.
• Work independently with minimal supervision on a daily basis.
