About the Role
The Davey Tree Expert Company of Canada, Limited is hiring a full-time Landscape Technician in Brantford, Ontario. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working outdoors and interacting with customers, serving within the landscape division. Working hours typically run from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with a flexible start date based on availability.
Key Responsibilities
- Removing and installing sod efficiently
- Applying topsoil and seeding lawns
- Constructing or repairing interlock walkways and patios
- Planting trees, shrubs, perennials, and annuals
- Setting up new garden beds
- Carrying out snow removal tasks during winter months
Candidate Requirements
- Possession of a valid 'G' Class driver's license along with a clean driving record
- Physical ability to lift between 40 and 50 pounds
- Customer service experience is preferred
Additional Information
- Hourly wage ranges from $18 to $23 based on experience
- Vacation pay at 4%
