Position Summary

We are looking for a full-time Land Surveyor based in Accra, responsible for conducting field surveys to gather precise spatial information for infrastructure and construction projects. Key tasks include executing topographic and boundary surveys, operating survey equipment, verifying construction alignments, levels, and positions for foundations and utilities, and analyzing and processing survey data. The role requires preparing detailed survey reports and drawings, working closely with engineers and site managers to ensure accurate implementation of design plans, supporting quality control measures, maintaining survey documentation, and following safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications and Skills

• Solid knowledge and practical experience in land surveying techniques applicable to construction and infrastructure.
• Expertise in conducting topographic surveys to map terrain and site characteristics.
• Proficient in using Total Station and associated survey instruments and software.
• Experience with building surveying, including layout setting and structural verification.
• Educational background includes a diploma or degree in Land Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Capability to interpret engineering drawings, site plans, and technical documents.
• Meticulous attention to detail, strong analytical aptitude, and problem-solving skills for onsite technical challenges.
• Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate well in multidisciplinary teams.
• Familiarity with GPS/GNSS equipment and CAD or GIS software is advantageous.
• Commitment to workplace safety and readiness to perform in outdoor site environments.
