Job Overview

The Franklin, OH facility is seeking a Laborer who will perform various duties including maintaining cleanliness, assisting production and shipping operations, and performing general facility upkeep.

Primary Duties

• Keep the facility clean and orderly at all times.
• Adhere strictly to plant rules and all safety protocols, including the use of required personal protective equipment.
• Conduct cleaning tasks inside and outside the facility such as restrooms, locker rooms, break areas, basement, production zones, and offices.
• Support production and shipping teams as needed.
• Operate forklifts and bobcats safely to accomplish assigned tasks.
• Perform general painting work throughout the facility.
• Inform supervisors about supplies necessary to complete duties effectively.
• Carry out additional responsibilities assigned by supervision.
• Maintain consistent and reliable attendance.

Experience & Skills

• Ability to work rotating shifts and overtime when required.
• Strong organizational aptitude for managing job-related data and work area equipment.
• Effective communication skills to convey timely and relevant information to coworkers and management.
• Capability to complete assigned tasks independently and anticipate work needs without direct supervision.
• Problem-solving abilities to address challenges and find solutions promptly.
• Willingness to collaborate and foster teamwork to achieve common goals.
• Fluent English speaking skills.
• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Ability to read and understand simple instructions and memos and write basic correspondence.
• Competency in using and reading a tape measure accurately.
• Must successfully pass forklift operator tests and operate forklifts and bobcats safely.

Education & Certifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.

Physical Requirements

• Must meet physical demands essential to the role.
• Regularly required to communicate by talking and hearing.
• Frequently engages in sitting and manual tasks involving hands and fingers.
• Occasional standing, walking, and reaching with hands and arms.
• Vision requirements include both close and distance vision.

• Pay rate of $21.31 per hour.
