Key Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs on kitchen and laundry equipment with high craftsmanship to ensure optimal functionality and durability.
• Strictly follow preventive maintenance schedules and shift reading programs to maintain peak equipment performance.
• Conduct thorough inspections, diagnose issues, and repair equipment with great attention to detail, delivering exceptional results.
• Apply strong problem-solving abilities to minimize downtime, embodying luxury service standards.
• Assess equipment usage and energy efficiency, taking proactive measures to optimize performance and reduce energy consumption.
• Manage and update technical drawings, ensuring accuracy and reflecting necessary changes.
• Maintain organized equipment catalogs and tagging systems for easy reference.
• Complete paperwork, work orders, and documentation promptly and accurately.
• Keep detailed daily logs documenting problems, solutions, and maintenance activities.
• Participate actively in team meetings, offering feedback and suggestions for continuous improvement.
• Maintain health and safety records complying with regulations and enhance safety standards.
• Practice environmentally responsible methods handling chemicals and refrigerants aligned with sustainability goals.
• Respond quickly to work requests related to health and safety issues, addressing risks or hazards.
• Identify and report potential safety hazards to protect team members and stakeholders.
• Contribute to emergency response efforts, acting confidently during critical situations to ensure safety.
• Stay updated on technological advances in kitchen equipment through ongoing training and development.
• Execute all assigned work orders diligently and efficiently within timelines.
• Support the Chief Engineer by completing assigned tasks that contribute to a positive work environment.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 to 4 years’ experience in a similar role within luxury hotel or healthcare settings in the UAE.
• Extensive knowledge of refrigeration systems as well as kitchen and laundry equipment maintenance.
• Exceptional physical stamina to handle heavy lifting and endure long periods of standing and walking.
• Ability to work independently with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
• Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
• Keen attention to detail ensuring smooth and flawless operations.
• Creative thinking aligned with the organization’s visionary standards.
• Hands-on approach with a positive, can-do attitude.

Compensation

This position offers a fixed monthly salary of AED 2300 as part of a rewarding career path.
