Kitchen Support Expert (m/f/d) - Berlin Marriott Hotel

Position Overview

The Kitchen Support Expert plays a crucial role in facilitating various hotel operations, including departments such as kitchen, food and beverage, and employee dining. Responsibilities include supporting cleaning efforts, basic kitchen prep, managing dishware, and handling equipment such as dishwashers and hand wash stations to maintain the highest standards.

Key Duties

• Prepare clean linen and spotless dining wares for guests’ use.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and tools efficiently.
• Transport and organize dishware throughout the hotel premises.
• Adhere strictly to all company safety, security policies, and procedures.
• Report any maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions to management promptly.
• Complete all mandated safety training and certifications.
• Maintain a professional appearance and uphold confidentiality regarding company information.
• Welcome guests warmly and communicate using professional language.
• Develop and sustain positive teamwork relationships toward common objectives.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and expectations at all times.
• Physical demands include standing, sitting, or walking for long periods; bending, twisting, pulling, reaching overhead and below the knees; lifting and moving objects up to 25 pounds without assistance.
• Perform additional reasonable duties as directed by supervisors.
