About the Role
Become a vital part of Carluccio’s kitchen team in Derby as a Kitchen Porter, ensuring a clean, organised, and efficient environment that supports the preparation of authentic Italian cuisine. Your role will involve maintaining high standards of cleanliness and assisting kitchen staff with basic food prep and organisation to keep the operation running smoothly.
Core Responsibilities
- Maintain the kitchen's cleanliness by washing dishes, utensils, and equipment, and sanitising surfaces regularly.
- Assist chefs and kitchen personnel with simple food preparation tasks and help organise incoming deliveries.
- Manage waste disposal and recycling to keep the kitchen safe and tidy.
- Restock and arrange ingredients and supplies to ensure readiness for service.
- Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
