Job Objective

The Kitchen Porter will ensure the kitchen remains clean and sanitary, provide support to the chefs and kitchen staff, and help maintain seamless back-of-house operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize dishes, kitchen utensils, cookware, and other kitchen items.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness throughout kitchen spaces, including floors, surfaces, and equipment.
• Manage waste disposal responsibly in line with health and safety protocols.
• Assist in receiving, unloading, and storing food and equipment deliveries.
• Keep cleaning supplies stocked and inform supervisors when supplies are low.
• Support basic food preparation tasks when needed, such as peeling and chopping vegetables.
• Adhere strictly to food safety and hygiene standards.
• Provide support to chefs and kitchen staff during peak periods.
• Report any faulty equipment or potential safety hazards promptly to management.
