About the Role

The Waldorf Astoria London - Admiralty Arch is recruiting a Kitchen Porter for Coreus by Clare Smyth, joining the team ahead of the hotel's highly anticipated opening later this year. This is an exceptional chance for seasoned hospitality professionals to be part of the launch team and contribute to the creation of memorable guest experiences at this prestigious luxury hotel.

Located opposite Buckingham Palace at the end of The Mall, the Waldorf Astoria London will include 100 elegantly designed rooms and suites and 17,500 square feet of private residences. The hotel boasts two signature restaurants: Coreus by Clare Smyth and Café Boulud by Daniel Boulud, featuring Michelin-starred chefs. Additional amenities include a world-class spa, advanced fitness centers, and numerous grand event spaces, including a ballroom accommodating up to 320 guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure immaculate cleanliness in all restaurants, kitchens, and food preparation and service areas.
• Organize and maintain storerooms in a hygienic and compliant manner at all times.
• Strictly follow all hygiene, health, and safety protocols.
• Collaborate closely with kitchen staff to support seamless service and create outstanding guest experiences.

Required Qualifications and Attributes

• Previous experience in using cleaning agents in a professional hospitality setting.
• Possession of a valid food hygiene certification or equivalent (proof may be requested).
• A true dedication to delivering excellent service with meticulous attention to detail.
• A professional attitude, strong work ethic, and pride in the workplace environment.
• Capability to work independently as well as cooperatively within a high-performing team.
