Role Overview
As a Kitchen Porter, you will play a vital role in maintaining the smooth operation of the kitchen and ensuring excellent service delivery. Your responsibilities will be varied, contributing directly to the efficiency and cleanliness of the kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform basic cleaning tasks promptly and efficiently.
- Collect, wash, and manage pots, pans, crockery, and cutlery.
- Keep food preparation areas clean and ready for use.
- Unload and organise deliveries including food and equipment.
- Maintain an orderly storeroom.
- Ensure work surfaces, floors, and walls are consistently clean and sanitized.
- Assist with basic food preparation when required.
Candidate Profile
The ideal applicant will be organized, efficient, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Availability to work shifts starting as early as 3am is essential, including five days out of seven on a shift rota.
Working Conditions and Requirements
- Shift work is required due to airport operations.
- Employment is conditional upon passing Garda Vetting.
