Role Overview
The Wright Group seeks a Food Visual Merchandiser bursting with creativity and a sharp eye for detail. This exciting role involves developing and implementing captivating food displays across various retail food units, collaborating with multiple teams to craft inviting, imaginative, and commercially successful presentations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute appealing food displays that align with the store’s theme and customer demographic.
- Apply visual design principles to arrange food items in an attractive and engaging manner.
- Create innovative cross-merchandising setups, pairing complementary products like drinks with lunch or sides to encourage higher sales.
- Use strategic presentation, layout, and storytelling to inspire customers and boost revenue.
- Observe customer responses to displays and adjust setups accordingly for maximum impact.
- Stay informed on emerging food trends and integrate them into display concepts.
- Work collaboratively with marketing and sales to ensure displays support promotional campaigns.
- Continuously assess the success of display strategies and implement improvements when necessary.
- Coordinate across culinary, retail, and management teams to bring display ideas to fruition.
- Support teams in maintaining attractive displays throughout the day, balancing aesthetics, freshness, practicality, and safety.
- Constantly generate fresh ideas, track trends, and find new ways to highlight the company’s offerings.

Ideal Candidate
If you are passionate about food, naturally inventive, and detail-oriented—observing and enhancing elements such as color, height, and finishing touches to craft displays that attract customers—you will thrive in this role. Previous experience in food merchandising, food styling, fresh food retail, or a related creative field is highly valued and encouraged.
