Job description
Job Overview and Tasks
This position does not require any formal educational qualifications or previous experience as training will be provided. Key duties include handling and replacing linens, cleaning and clearing tables, trays, and chairs, operating dishwashers to clean dishes, glassware, and flatware, and properly storing cleaned items. Additional responsibilities involve scrubbing pots and pans, stocking refrigerators and salad bars, sanitizing kitchen areas such as work surfaces and storage spaces, and processing incoming supplies.
Further tasks include waste removal, sharpening kitchen knives, maintaining floor cleanliness through sweeping, mopping, washing, and polishing, and preparing vegetables and fruits by washing, peeling, and cutting.
Working Conditions and Personal Attributes
The role requires working in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment with the capability to handle weights up to 23 kilograms (50 pounds). Candidates should demonstrate client focus, reliability, and the ability to work well within a team. Availability for shift or on-call duties and readiness to start on the specified date are necessary. English is the working language.
