Job Overview

The Kitchen Associate will play a vital role in supporting everyday kitchen activities. Responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness and hygiene at the workstation, adhering to food safety protocols, assisting in food preparation and basic mise-en-place tasks, and occasionally helping with packing and dispatch operations. The role ensures meal quality and cleanliness standards are met consistently. One meal comprising rice and Indian curry is provided per shift; employees working split shifts are offered two meals.

Working Hours and Shifts

• Store operates between 7:00 AM and 3:00 AM.
• Break shifts are divided into two parts: Morning (10:00 AM to 3:00 PM) and Evening (7:00 PM to 12:00 AM).
• Typical shift duration is 10 hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Uphold kitchen cleanliness and comply with all food safety regulations.
• Prepare mise-en-place and verify ingredient quality prior to cooking.
• Assist in cooking and meal assembly according to defined standards.
• Support packing and dispatch duties as required.
• Maintain a tidy and sanitary workstation throughout the shift.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum education of 10th grade with fundamental skills in cutting and food prep.
• Physically capable of managing fast-paced kitchen duties.
• Maintains good hygiene, punctuality, discipline, and is clean-shaven.
• Willing to work split shifts and learn new skills.
• Able to follow instructions and collaborate within a team environment.
