Job description
Role Overview
This full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, seeks a Kindergarten Teacher who will develop and deliver developmentally appropriate lessons aimed at fostering early literacy, numeracy, and social-emotional skills in young children. The teacher will organize both structured and play-based activities, prepare educational materials daily, and oversee student progress within a safe and welcoming classroom atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and implement lessons tailored to meet age-appropriate developmental milestones.
- Prepare engaging classroom materials and resources to support learning.
- Facilitate both structured and interactive play activities.
- Observe and assess children's progress regularly.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.
- Maintain consistent communication with parents and guardians regarding student development.
- Collaborate effectively with school staff members.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training.
- Support and engage in school events and uphold school policies.
- Promote a positive and nurturing learning culture for all students.
Qualifications and Skills
- Demonstrated expertise in teaching and early childhood education.
- Proficient in lesson planning and creating engaging, age-suitable activities.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage children, parents, and colleagues empathetically.
- Experience in classroom management and child behavior guidance.
- Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Education, Early Childhood Education, or a related discipline.
- Relevant teaching certifications or licenses and knowledge of early years curricula are advantageous.
- Ability to cultivate an inclusive, culturally aware learning environment and work within diverse communities.
- Organized, adaptable, and dedicated to continuous professional improvement.
