Position Overview
The organisation is looking for a seasoned Key Account Manager to oversee a portfolio of significant and intricate corporate accounts. This strategic role centers on partnership with high-level stakeholders to advance growth, ensure client retention, and secure the long-term viability of business relationships. Responsibilities include developing bespoke account strategies and delivering substantial value to customers through collaborative engagement.
Primary Responsibilities
- Manage and drive growth and retention across a portfolio of large, complex corporate accounts.
- Craft and execute strategic account plans complemented by routine business reviews with key client stakeholders.
- Establish and nurture trusted relationships with senior executives and decision-makers at multiple levels within client organisations.
- Lead contract renewals, presentations, and engagement activities with important stakeholders.
- Spot opportunities for increasing market share while monitoring risks and competitor movements within the portfolio.
- Collaborate with internal teams to provide excellent customer experiences and promote wellbeing-focused initiatives.
- Contribute to new business development by preparing persuasive proposals, responding to tenders, and maintaining strong client relationships.
Candidate Profile
- Extensive experience in Key Account Management, preferably in health insurance, employee benefits, financial services, or related sectors.
- Demonstrated success in cultivating and sustaining strategic relationships with senior leadership.
- Strong commercial insight with capabilities in senior-level negotiation and influence.
- Proven ability to manage complex corporate clients while consistently meeting growth and retention goals.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Strategic thinker with flexibility and a cooperative working style.
- Health sector or employee benefits experience is advantageous.
