Job description

Position Overview

In this role, you will be responsible for managing some of our most significant clients with a clear objective to generate substantial growth for XING. You will nurture existing accounts, regain lost business, and unlock new budgets, contacts, and companies within complex corporate structures. You will manage your portfolio as if it were your own enterprise, measuring your success by sustainable revenue growth, Annual Contract Value (ACV), and completed deals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take full commercial ownership of your key client portfolio across the DACH region, aiming to increase revenue and ACV consistently.
  • Systematically uncover growth opportunities within complex organizational frameworks, including subsidiaries, agencies, new companies, business units, additional budgets, and decision-makers; conducting approximately 15 on-site client meetings per month.
  • Strategically develop accounts by creating clear account plans, identifying buying committees, relevant budgets, competitive positioning, and white spaces to derive tangible growth opportunities.
  • Identify and execute cross-selling and upselling possibilities as well as recover lost or inactive clients and budgets.
  • Manage complex sales cycles involving contract and price negotiations until closure, ensuring a reliable pipeline, clear next steps, and an accurate sales forecast.

Candidate Profile

  • Several years of experience in Key Account Management within B2B sales, preferably in HR technology or recruiting sectors.
  • Proven track record in client acquisition, closing deals, and strategic account growth with measurable revenue and target accountability.
  • Strong commercial drive with a commitment to fully exploit the revenue potential of your accounts.
  • Confident and persuasive communication skills at the executive level, adept at handling complex stakeholder and corporate structures.
  • Experience identifying and unlocking new business potentials, budgets, and decision-makers within existing major clients.
  • Expertise in conducting customer meetings and leading contract and price negotiations.
  • Structured approach using CRM tools, pipeline management, and forecasting techniques.
  • Fluency in German and good command of English, willingness to travel frequently within Germany, and enjoyment of regular on-site client visits.

Benefits

  • Consulting services from the Fürstenberg Institute.
  • Mobile devices provided for professional and private use.
  • Company summer and Christmas parties.
  • Discount on the Deutschlandticket public transport pass.
  • Bike leasing options.
  • 40% remote work allowance.
  • Lunch and employee discounts.
  • Competitive and transparent salary structure.
  • Six weeks paid vacation.
  • Attractive bonus scheme.
