Role Overview
The Key Account Manager will spearhead building, maintaining, and growing strategic long-term partnerships with prominent wholesale channel partners such as distributors, large dealers, aggregators, and FMCG exporters in Jammu & Kashmir. This crucial position aims to boost B2B revenue and market share by crafting and implementing effective channel sales plans.
Responsibilities
- Surpass assigned sales targets focused on primary sales (sales made to channel partners) and secondary sales (channel partners selling to end customers).
- Formulate and apply detailed annual and quarterly business plans for each key channel partner, outlining growth strategies, product focus, and geographical expansion.
- Identify, assess, and onboard new wholesale partners like distributors and super stockists to broaden market presence in urban and rural locales, especially in Uttarakhand.
- Promote the company's complete product range within major accounts and their downstream networks.
- Act as the principal liaison and trusted consultant for key accounts, cultivating enduring, mutually advantageous relationships at senior management levels.
- Manage and resolve complex commercial conflicts, operational challenges, and issues proactively between the company and its channel partners.
- Conduct regular monthly or quarterly business reviews with partners to evaluate performance, analyze market trends, and jointly develop corrective actions if needed.
- Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, promotions, and contracts to assure profitability, adherence to company policies, and competitive edge.
- Deliver accurate weekly and monthly sales forecasts, market insights, and pipeline updates employing CRM platforms such as Salesforce or HubSpot.
- Coordinate with Supply Chain and Logistics teams to ensure timely order processing, inventory control, and consistent product availability for key accounts.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Training departments to ensure channel partners are well-equipped with product knowledge, marketing collateral, and sales resources.
Compensation
The maximum net monthly salary for this position is INR 30,000. Applicants should only apply if agreeable to this pay range.
