About the Role
The Key Account Executive position at Uniphar Group is based in the Dublin office with a hybrid work arrangement: four days onsite and one day remote weekly. This role involves managing daily customer account activities, delivering superior customer support, coordinating with various internal teams, and contributing to the achievement of business objectives. You will play a crucial role liaising with sales and account management to maintain excellent client relationships and operational efficiency.
Key Duties
- Serve as the primary contact for assigned customer accounts, ensuring responsive and professional service.
- Build and nurture productive relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal colleagues.
- Assist the Account Management team by supporting customer relationship management and satisfaction goals.
- Handle customer inquiries promptly and escalate issues appropriately.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and account-related materials for customer review meetings.
- Facilitate onboarding for new customers and manage their specific account needs.
- Stay regularly engaged with customers to anticipate and fulfill their requirements.
- Coordinate orders and oversee the seamless delivery of products and services.
- Manage accurate customer records including pricing and account data within company systems.
- Track performance metrics for key accounts and contribute to reporting efforts.
- Monitor service levels, identify trends, and suggest improvements.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain, Finance, Quality, and Commercial teams to resolve any client-related issues effectively.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and client expectations in all account activities.
- Support administrative tasks related to account management and customer service.
- Assist sales and account teams with pricing updates, presentations, business reviews, and documentation.
- Identify opportunities to enhance customer service and share insights with the team.
- Develop industry knowledge regarding customers’ businesses, products, and market trends.
- Propose ideas to improve customer engagement and boost account performance.
Candidate Profile and Requirements
- Around one year of experience in customer service, sales support, account management, administration, or a client-facing role.
- Previous exposure to distribution, healthcare, pharmaceutical, logistics, or supply chain sectors is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build strong relationships.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Comfortable working with data and generating reports.
- Strong organizational skills with acute attention to detail.
- Capability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
