Role Overview

We seek an experienced and motivated KDB Developer to join our team, contributing expertise in cutting-edge data technologies to support global financial institutions. This role demands strategic thinking, adaptability in a dynamic environment, and strong analytical skills to address complex business challenges.

Kdb+ is the fastest time-series database globally, utilized across diverse industries such as finance, telecommunications, aerospace, and competitive sports. It uniquely integrates streaming, in-memory, and historical data into a unified platform.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with international clients within our kdb+ consulting framework.
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert for KX product deployment and customization.
  • Engage in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including design, architecture, coding, testing, and deployment.
  • Communicate with end-users to gather requirements, assist with integrations, configure systems, troubleshoot, and conduct training sessions.
  • Provide user support for data access and querying tasks.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in software engineering or development utilizing KDB+/Q.
  • Solid academic foundation in business, finance, engineering, mathematics, science, or technology disciplines.
  • Proven history of delivering effective software solutions using languages such as Java, C++, or Python.
  • Familiarity with deployment automation tools including Jenkins or TeamCity.
  • A self-motivated and proactive professional with enthusiasm for embracing new technologies and continuous learning.
