Junior Travel & Tourism Trainee

About the Role

Join the dynamic team at Ramoji Film City as a Junior Travel & Tourism Trainee, where you'll play a key role in delivering memorable and engaging guided tours to guests in one of the world's largest film city destinations. This role involves welcoming visitors warmly, managing tours with storytelling flair, ensuring guest safety and comfort, handling inquiries and complaints, and guiding guests through various attractions. Candidates should have at least 1 year of relevant experience and must be fluent in English and Hindi, with additional languages considered advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

• Warmly greet visitors at the starting point and provide detailed information about park operations and attractions.
• Assist guests in boarding vintage or air-conditioned buses for various themed tours of the film city.
• Deliver scripted tours with flexibility to adjust content based on audience and foster an entertaining atmosphere using stories about the film city’s history and productions.
• Track and respond to guest feedback, addressing issues promptly and ensuring high satisfaction.
• Monitor guest behavior to uphold safety, enforce safety rules such as remaining seated on the bus, and provide first aid when necessary.
• Conduct post-tour bus inspections to recover lost belongings and direct guests towards further activities, dining, and shopping.
• Handle guest complaints sensitively, resolving concerns like lost items or ticket disputes.
• Use strong communication skills to engage diverse audiences including VIPs, international visitors, and family groups.
• Encourage the purchase of food and merchandise to enhance guest experience.
• Manage timely boarding, deboarding, and oversee guest flow to minimize delays.
• Maintain adherence to all standard operating procedures and safety protocols, comply with dress and grooming standards, and attend daily briefings.
• Stay updated on new tour scripts, filming locations, and special events.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum one year experience in tour guiding, public speaking, customer service, or related fields; experience in theme parks or entertainment venues is advantageous.
• Strong command of English and Hindi languages; proficiency in Telugu or other Indian/international languages is a plus.
• Education such as a bachelor’s degree or diploma in Tourism, Hospitality, Mass Communication, or equivalent is preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to connect with a varied audience.
