Business Development Trainee

About the Role

As a Business Development Trainee at Ramoji Film City, you will play a crucial role in strengthening our industry relationships and driving business growth. Your day-to-day duties will involve engaging directly with film industry stakeholders, expanding our client database, and supporting marketing initiatives aimed at positioning Ramoji Film City as the premier destination for film and content production.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily field visits meeting at least five industry professionals, including Producers, Directors, Line Producers, and other key decision-makers.
• Create and update a detailed contact database of production houses and companies.
• Assist with the development of tailored presentations and pitch decks targeting segments such as Films, Web Series, OTT Platforms, and Corporate Productions.
• Drive cold outreach efforts through emails, LinkedIn, and phone calls to generate potential leads and organize meetings.
• Conduct thorough market research to keep track of industry trends, competitor activities, and varying client needs.
• Represent Ramoji Film City professionally in all industry engagements to promote it as the preferred production destination.
• Work closely with the Business Development Manager and Film Vertical team to convert leads into business opportunities.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum of one year of relevant experience.
• BBA or MBA degree with specialization in Sales, Marketing, Media, or Entertainment.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong interpersonal and presentation capabilities.
• Willingness to engage extensively in fieldwork and client meetings.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
• Familiarity with presentation design applications like Canva.
• Self-driven, target-focused, and capable of performing under pressure.

Additional Information

• This position requires frequent on-site visits and client interaction primarily in Mumbai.
• Includes health insurance as part of employee benefits.
• Immediate joining preferred.
• Annual compensation ranges between ₹250,000 and ₹300,000.
