Junior Technical Project Manager

Overview

We Are Kusudi seeks a motivated and organized Junior Technical Project Manager to join their team and contribute to the successful delivery of innovative software products. This role is fully remote with a requirement to work during UK business hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and plan project tasks, ensuring deliverables are completed on time and within the defined project scope.
• Engage directly with customers through hosting and managing project meetings to facilitate smooth project deployment.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and software engineers to specify requirements and monitor progress.
• Lead daily Agile ceremonies such as stand-ups, sprint planning sessions, and retrospectives.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, remove blockers, and maintain thorough documentation and status updates.
• Enhance and maintain project management workflows and software delivery processes continuously.
• Troubleshoot project impediments and foster effective communication among all team members.

Essential Technical Skills & Experience

• 1 to 2 years experience in a technical or project support capacity.
• Working knowledge of software concepts including Java/Spring Boot back-end, Angular front-end, and microservice architecture to translate requirements effectively.
• Good understanding of Agile project management frameworks and modern software delivery practices.
• Practical experience with project management tools such as JIRA for task handling, sprint tracking, and workflow organization.

Desirable Qualifications

• Awareness of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes and cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience interfacing with teams handling message brokers like Kafka and database deployments.
• Possession of Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) credentials is advantageous but not required.

Communication and Soft Skills

• Strong English language skills, both written and verbal, are mandatory.
• Ability to clearly explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proactive, collaborative attitude suitable for remote teamwork.
• Excellent problem-solving capabilities with enthusiasm for developing high-quality, scalable solutions.
