Junior Procurement Officer

About the Role

We are looking for a Junior Procurement Officer to strengthen our Procurement Department as part of our growth. This role plays a vital part in supporting procurement operations involving materials, services, renovation, and maintenance projects, focusing on process efficiency, adherence to policies, and cost management.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage procurement needs from end users by sending inquiries, obtaining quotations, and identifying appropriate vendors for materials, services, and maintenance work.
• Compile and compare quotations, negotiate as needed, and initiate contracts and purchase orders according to company procurement guidelines.
• Liaise with suppliers to ensure prompt deliveries, track order progress, and handle delays or discrepancies effectively.
• Maintain thorough procurement records including invoices, delivery notes, contracts, warranty certificates, and AMC documents to comply with audit and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with end users to ensure accurate and timely generation of Goods Receipt Notes upon receipt of goods and completion of services.
• Monitor vendor performance, keep updated vendor profiles, and raise issues when service levels drop below expectations.
• Guarantee that all procurement transactions and vendor engagements follow company policies, ethical standards, and relevant regulations.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or similar fields.
• At least 3 years of demonstrated experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain activities, preferably within real estate, property management, manufacturing, subcontracting, or facilities management sectors.
• Good knowledge of MEP materials and services, capable of understanding technical specifications, conducting quotation comparisons, and supporting cost-effective negotiations with vendors.
