About Boskalis and Role Overview

Primary Responsibilities
- Manage the complete payroll process for Boskalis entities in the UAE, ensuring accuracy, timely execution, and compliance with policies and laws.
- Maintain payroll data integrity by coordinating between HR, project support, payroll service providers, finance, and employees.
- Assist in processing payroll for approximately 400 employees, with future expansion anticipated.
- Prepare, review, and post payroll entries in the accounting system (Infor LN), including reconciliations and journal entries.
- Verify and administer employee settlements such as final clearances, leave encashment, and end-of-service benefits according to regulations.
- Ensure correctness of payroll inputs including attendance, allowances, and deductions by collaborating with project HR teams.
- Reconcile payroll outputs with internal records and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Support audits and maintain comprehensive payroll documentation and procedures.
- Identify and recommend improvements for payroll controls, workflows, and automation opportunities.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or closely related field.
- 3 to 5 years of payroll experience, preferably working in multinational or project-driven organizations.
- Proven ability to handle payroll for large employee groups across multiple entities and jurisdictions.
- Experience managing outsourced payroll providers and working knowledge of UAE labor regulations.
- Proficiency with ERP accounting software, especially Infor, and payroll systems like Ramco preferred.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Competent in Microsoft Office with advanced Excel capabilities.
- Analytical mindset and well-organized work approach.
- Understanding financial accounting principles and month-end closing processes.
Work Environment and Additional Details
- Position is based in Abu Dhabi office and is a full-time, onsite role within the FSSC team.
