Job Overview
We are seeking a Junior Officer to join the Production Department, specifically working in the Granulation, Compression, and Coating sections. The candidate will be responsible for adhering strictly to cGMP, GxP, and other regulatory standards, including environment, health, and safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete mandatory training on SOPs and fully understand the tasks prior to execution.
- Execute all operations as outlined in SOPs and immediately report any deviations or difficulties to supervisors.
- Identify and report quality issues or suggest improvements to management.
- Manufacture and process assigned product batches under supervision following the BMR instructions.
- Manage the handling and transfer of raw materials, bulk supplies, semi-finished, and finished goods.
- Operate, clean, and maintain equipment and accessories relevant to production activities as per SOP.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the production area and machines as per GMP standards.
- Support quality management by reporting irregularities, non-conformances, or incidents to department and QA heads.
- Receive raw and packaging materials from the warehouse and ensure the cleanliness of receiving areas.
- Record all operations online in designated documents complying with SOPs and BMR requirements.
- Ensure personal hygiene and comply with all HR department rules before entering production zones.
- Perform in-process inspections according to BMR and document the results properly.
- Attend required training programs on cGMP, safety, health, and hygiene continuously.
- Contribute to cost efficiency by managing overtime, expenses, and maintaining yield standards.
- Monitor environmental factors diligently to conform to BMR and SOP benchmarks.
- Ensure scheduled calibration and preventive maintenance of manufacturing equipment and instruments with results meeting standards.
- Conduct line clearance between batches and product changes ensuring SOP compliance.
- Manage issuance, retrieval, and destruction of manufacturing tools such as dies, punches, sieves, and accessories.
- Ensure compliance with audit requirements.
- Assist in resolving machine and process issues as needed.
- Perform additional assignments as delegated by the production head.
Qualifications & Experience
Applicants should hold a degree in Science or Pharmacy and possess 2 to 6 years of relevant industry experience.
