Junior Mechanical Engineer – Fit-Out

Overview

White Art Co Ltd is seeking a Junior Mechanical Engineer to assist in the design review, coordination, and site supervision of mechanical systems related to commercial, retail, hospitality, office, and residential fit-out projects in Al Takhassusi, Riyadh. This role primarily involves working under senior engineers to support the installation and management of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• Membership or registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) is preferred.
• Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 2 years’ experience in mechanical engineering or MEP contracting/fit-out are welcome.
• Internship or academic project exposure relating to HVAC, plumbing, or fire protection is an advantage.

Technical Skills and Knowledge

• Basic familiarity with mechanical design codes and standards, including ASHRAE, NFPA, and Saudi Building Code.
• Understanding fundamentals of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection system design.
• Proficient in AutoCAD with preferred basic knowledge in Revit MEP, HAP/Carrier, or similar engineering software.
• Capability to read and interpret mechanical shop drawings and Bills of Quantities (BOQs).

Key Responsibilities

• Assist senior engineers by reviewing shop drawings, technical submittals, and material samples.
• Support site inspections, quality assurance checks, and testing of mechanical installations.
• Coordinate with site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers under senior guidance.
• Help prepare quantity take-offs and generate daily or weekly site progress reports.
• Ensure compliance with project timelines, quality standards, and health, safety, and environmental protocols.
