Job Overview

As a Junior Crew Member at Burger Urge Andergrove, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and upholding a welcoming atmosphere. The position involves working in a lively, fast-paced environment managing multiple responsibilities such as order taking, food preparation, cleanliness, inventory control, and team collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcoming customers and efficiently taking their orders with friendliness.
• Preparing food items according to Burger Urge’s standards, including cooking, grilling, frying, and assembling.
• Ensuring cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen, dining spaces, and restrooms.
• Operating kitchen appliances like grills, fryers, and ovens safely and responsibly.
• Handling transactions including cash and cards and maintaining accurate sales records.
• Cooperating closely with team members to ensure timely and accurate order completion.
• Engaging in training sessions to stay informed about company policies, procedures, and new menu offerings.

Candidate Requirements

• Strong interpersonal and excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-moving work environment.
• Good organization and time management capabilities.
• Previous experience in quick service restaurants is favorable but not compulsory.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and school holidays.
• Food Safety Certificate is mandatory; applicants are expected to obtain this if they do not have it yet.
• Valid working rights must be provided (passport and visa for international candidates).
• Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate to be secured within 30 days of employment commencement.
