Job description

About the Role

This Junior Content Creator role is based within We. Studio, closely collaborating with the Brand Content & Commerce team. The focus is on consumer growth portfolios related to travel, tourism, and hospitality brands that thrive on social media engagement. The role demands creating engaging content that captures attention and motivates audiences to interact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop compelling content from concept to publication, including static posts and videos, utilizing tools such as CapCut, TikTok Symphony, and native platform editors.
  • Write effective copy to complement videos, ensuring the message resonates alongside visuals.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions to transform briefs, trends, or spontaneous ideas into share-worthy formats with strong hooks.
  • Manage community engagement by scheduling posts, responding to comments, and strategically jumping on relevant trends while knowing when to abstain.
  • Stay actively informed with current platform trends and new content tools to innovate and enhance content portfolios.
  • Incorporate AI creative tools like Higgsfield for video generation, Midjourney, Gemini, Google Stitch, or ChatGPT into the creative process, experimenting and integrating useful tools.

Qualifications and Preferences

  • A Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media Production, Digital Arts, Communications, Marketing, or a related discipline, or an equivalent strong portfolio.
  • Between zero to two years of experience in content creation, social media, or video production; exceptional fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Proficiency with CapCut, TikTok Symphony, and platform-native editing tools; familiarity with Premiere Pro or After Effects is advantageous but not essential.
  • A portfolio or active social media presence that demonstrates the ability to produce captivating and sharable content, even at an early career stage.
  • Strong writing skills for social media captions, hooks, and posts, understanding the importance of text alongside visuals.
  • Current with social media trends, adept at knowing what content is gaining traction, losing momentum, and appropriate timing for trend engagement.
  • Basic exposure to motion graphics, color grading, or sound design adds value.
  • Interest in leveraging AI creative tools for content production and integrating these innovations into workflows.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously without compromising quality.
  • A collaborative approach with clear communication skills, essential for client-facing situations.
  • Capability to thrive in a dynamic, multicultural, and fast-paced work environment.

Diversity and Inclusion

The organization is committed to equal opportunity employment and values diversity in all its forms, including age, race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, and other protected classes.
