Junior Compounder - Scent Production

About the Role

This full-time role is based onsite at Chin Bee, Singapore, within a passionate and customer-centric team focused on producing innovative scent products. As part of a global leader in flavors, fragrances, food ingredients, and health & biosciences, you will contribute to creating sustainable and impactful everyday products.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with production activities including cleaning equipment and managing materials.
• Support tank charging, blending, and in-process checks while supervised.
• Operate Human Machine Interface (HMI) systems and production equipment following proper training.
• Carry out packing duties and transport materials using powered industrial vehicles (PIVs) after receiving training and licensing.
• Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to maintain safety, efficiency, and product quality standards.
• Keep the work area clean and assist with basic equipment maintenance through 6S and autonomous maintenance practices.
• Engage in improvement initiatives and complete tasks as directed by supervisors.

Qualifications and Skills

• Completion of Secondary education, ITE, or a Diploma in Chemical Engineering or related fields.
• Basic knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and familiarity with common process instrumentation are advantageous.
• Competency in computer applications such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; experience with SAP is beneficial.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in teams with basic English communication skills.
• Physical capability to handle loads up to 25kg without assistance.
