Production Operator

This role is an onsite production operator position based in Mount Maunganui, contributing to a dynamic and collaborative team focused on impactful results and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out quality control testing and assist in keeping equipment accurately calibrated.
• Safely manage and operate diverse processing equipment.
• Run automated packing machinery and perform standard packing responsibilities.
• Operate forklifts when necessary to handle materials efficiently.
• Prepare, mix, and load ingredients essential for production activities.
• Generate labels and perform fundamental computer-based tasks.
• Support the Shift Manager by executing specific operational duties during shifts.

Additional Information

• Work schedule involves rotating 12-hour shifts between day (6am–6pm) and night (6pm–6am), covering Sunday evening through Friday evening, with generous night shift allowances.
• Base pay starts at NZD 28.30 per hour plus a NZD 5.00 hourly shift allowance for night shifts.
• Opportunities to progress beyond packing operator roles into quality control, loading, or process operator positions exist, with pay scales reflecting prior manufacturing experience.
