We collaborate across sectors, delivering impactful solutions for governments, enterprises, and growing bodies, aiming to generate meaningful results for our customers and communities.
Role Overview
You will join Datacom’s Local Government Product Engineering group as a Junior Application Engineer, contributing to the development of our ERP platform, Datascape. Required Qualifications and Experience
- Approximately 1 to 2 years of experience in a technical, analytical, software, or IT capacity, or equivalent practical background.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Engineering, Science, or related fields.
- Strong analytical reasoning and problem-solving capabilities.
- Genuine interest in software engineering, systems, and technology.
- Confidence and practical experience using AI tools in a professional context.
- Curiosity and eagerness to learn new technologies and business domains.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work delivery.

- Experience or exposure to enterprise software and business systems.
- Awareness of Agile methodologies and iterative development processes.
