Job Role and Responsibilities
Within our Business Unit Mailing & Shipping, which consolidates expertise relating to our franking and enveloping machines, we are seeking a Junior Account Manager in Berlin to join us immediately. The core responsibilities include:
- Proactively marketing the full product and solution portfolio through direct sales to sustainably grow revenue and profitability.
- Managing and developing a defined customer base within the small and medium-sized existing clients segment.
- Engaging with prospects and customers via telephone and written communication as directed.
- Conducting product demonstrations in the showroom following appropriate training.
- Preparing, following up on, and closing sales proposals and opportunities.
- Following up on outstanding customer requests, leads, and offers.
- Assisting with the creation and follow-up of quotations.
- Supporting efforts to acquire new customers while identifying additional sales opportunities such as cross- and upselling.
- Coordinating activities with the field sales team and other internal departments.
Qualifications and Profile
- Successfully completed commercial vocational training.
- Initial sales experience handling complex or consultative products or solutions.
- Strong self-motivation along with a results-driven and closing-oriented mindset.
- Confident and persuasive communication in customer interactions.
- Excellent negotiation skills and enthusiasm.
- Solid presentation and advisory abilities.
- Technical and commercial understanding.
- Excellent time management and a structured, independent working style.
- Proficient in using CRM systems and digital communication tools.
- Willingness to travel nationwide as part of the job requirements.
