Position Overview

The Junior Account Executive role offers hands-on training focused on finance, taxation, and audit support. This opportunity suits detail-focused commerce graduates or those with similar qualifications eager to advance from basic voucher bookkeeping to identifying gaps in audit compliance proactively.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily voucher entries in Tally Prime encompassing sales, purchases, payments, receipts, and journal entries.
• Maintain and reconcile financial ledgers, cash books, and bank statements regularly.
• Execute monthly bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.
• Assist with GST compliance, including preparing and filing GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and GSTR-9 returns alongside Input Tax Credit reconciliation.
• Support Income Tax Return filing for individuals and small enterprises.
• Manage TDS deductions, challan generation, and corresponding return submissions.
• Coordinate with clients to gather invoices, bank statements, and compliance records timely.
• Send reminders for compliance deadlines via email or WhatsApp as needed.
• Undertake audit-related visits to client and bank locations within Bangalore.

Candidate Profile

Essential:

• Educational background in B.Com, M.Com, CA Intermediate, or CMA Intermediate.
• Up to 2 years of relevant experience or fresh graduates are welcome.
• Basic proficiency with Tally Prime and Microsoft Excel.
• Understanding of GST, TDS, and fundamental Income Tax concepts.
• Detail-oriented with strong numerical precision.
• Eagerness to learn, accept guidance, and develop audit and compliance expertise.

Desired but Trainable:

• Previous internships or roles within chartered accounting firms, especially in audit or compliance.
• Familiarity with GST and income tax e-filing portals or auditing procedures at banks.
• Basic knowledge of accounting standards and documentation in audits.

Work Details

• Work location: Office situated in Rajajinagar, Bangalore, with necessary visits to client and bank sites.
• Working hours: Monday to Saturday, 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM.
• Immediate or early joining candidates are favored.

Compensation and Career Growth

• Monthly salary ranging from INR 10,000 to INR 15,000, depending on skills and experience.
