Role Overview
Located at the Wingfield office in Adelaide, the Joinery Estimator will manage multiple tender submissions concurrently and coordinate with the Project Management team on ongoing projects. The role requires meeting deadlines while producing detailed and accurate estimates.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the preparation of cost estimates for Tier 1 builders involved in high-rise apartment and hotel projects, based on plans, specifications, and relevant project documents.
- Assist in crafting tender proposals and submissions that comply with client expectations and requirements.
- Develop precise scopes of work and perform material quantity take-offs.
- Carefully analyze project blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to fully grasp project needs.
- Maintain comprehensive records of all estimates, quotations, and associated documents.
Candidate Profile
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word applications.
- Experience in construction estimating, preferably with knowledge or qualifications related to construction or joinery industries.
- Possess a results-oriented, proactive mindset combined with a positive approach to work.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving abilities with a sharp eye for detail.
- Capable of working effectively both within a team and independently.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings clearly.
