Core Responsibilities
- Oversee the administration of Jira projects, including workflows, issue types, screens, fields, permissions, and notifications management.
- Coordinate user management, groups, roles, and access permissions.
- Configure Jira Service Management features such as workflows, SLAs, queues, and request types.
- Design and maintain dashboards, generate reports, create filters, and compose JQL queries.
- Implement Jira automation rules to streamline and enhance business processes.
- Ensure integration support between Jira and other tools like Confluence, Bitbucket, Git, APIs, and various enterprise systems.
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to Jira performance, configurations, workflows, and integrations.
- Conduct Jira system upgrades, routine maintenance, and configuration management tasks.
- Provide user support, deliver training sessions, and develop technical documentation.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Extensive experience in Jira administration.
- Proficient with both Jira Software and Jira Service Management platforms.
- Strong knowledge of JQL, workflow design, automation capabilities, dashboard creation, and reporting techniques.
- Competent in Confluence administration.
- Familiarity with REST APIs and integrating Jira with other applications.
- Good understanding of Agile, Scrum, Kanban methodologies, and ITIL frameworks.
- Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a similar discipline.
- Preferably experienced in enterprise settings.
- Exposure to banking or financial services sectors is an added advantage.
