Job Overview

The Aircraft Cleaning Agent is responsible for efficiently and professionally cleaning aircraft according to customer specifications, ensuring high standards of hygiene and appearance.

Key Responsibilities

• Fold blankets inside the aircraft.
• Vacuum the aircraft flooring thoroughly.
• Clean and wipe mirrors in lavatories.
• Remove trash and clean seat pockets.
• Restock seat pockets with airline literature and materials.
• Replenish supplies in lavatories.
• Wipe passenger trays attached to seats.
• Clean interior aircraft windows.
• Collect trash and clean the cockpit area.
• Wipe and maintain aircraft overhead bins.
• Arrange seatbelts neatly on seats.
• Remove and replace audio headsets.
• Remove and replace headrests and pillows.
• Handle international garbage appropriately per company, carrier, and Department of Agriculture rules.
• Adhere strictly to federal, state, municipal, airport authority, and airline security protocols.
• Follow Swissport's standard operating procedures and policies.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Candidate Profile

• Basic literacy skills (reading and writing).
• Possession of a valid driver's license.
• Ability to comprehend and follow instructions safely within limited time frames.
• Capable of working outdoors in adverse weather conditions.
• Ability to perform under pressure.
• Willingness to work flexible hours as required.
• Maintain a professional and positive demeanor when interacting with customers, reflecting high work standards.

Compensation

The anticipated hourly wage for this position is $20.50.
