Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and sustain Core Java, J2EE, and Servlet-based applications within a monolithic framework, while actively supporting modernization efforts such as cloud migration and enabling SaaS platforms.
- Collaborate with system architects and product teams to architect scalable, efficient technical solutions.
- Manage complete ownership of project modules, covering initial requirement gathering through deployment and ongoing performance enhancement.
- Engage in application modernization initiatives focused on cloud transition and SaaS enablement.
- Create and review UML and architecture diagrams along with detailed design documentation.
- Develop high-quality code, conduct thorough code reviews, and uphold compliance with coding standards, focusing on performance and security.
- Act as an individual contributor maintaining client relations, specifically with Siemens stakeholders, to ensure delivery excellence.
- Guide and mentor junior engineers, offering solutions to complex technical issues when necessary.
Essential Technical Skills
- In-depth expertise in Core Java, J2EE, and Servlets with extensive hands-on experience.
- Strong understanding of concurrency mechanisms, collections, multithreading, synchronization, and read/write locks.
- Comprehensive knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and fundamental OOPS principles including association and relationships between classes and objects.
- Solid background in monolithic application architecture and familiarity with cloud/SaaS modernization processes.
- Proficiency in writing unit tests using tools like JUnit and TestNG.
- Experienced in low-level design, UML diagramming, and system design strategies for effective problem solving.
- Track record of delivering scalable and high-performing software solutions.
- Comfortable in client-facing capacities and collaborating with product architects or service organizations managing extended ODC engagements.
Desirable Skills
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS for deploying applications.
- Skills in performance tuning and optimization techniques.
- Background in developing large-scale enterprise products with prior work at firms like GS Labs, Persistent, Nvidia, Veritas, or Symantec favored.
- Familiarity with SaaS enablement processes and technologies.
Educational Qualifications
Candidates should hold a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech), Bachelor of Computer Applications (B.C.A.), Master of Computer Applications (MCA), or an equivalent degree in any specialization.
Additional Information
- Experience required: Over 11 years of professional experience.
- Notice period: Immediate to 15 days availability preferred.
- Work schedule: Five-day workweek based in office location at Baner, Pune.
