Job Overview

The role is for a Java Full Stack Developer (L3) based in Bangalore, India, requiring between five to seven years of professional experience. The developer will engage in designing, building, enhancing, and maintaining enterprise-grade applications primarily built with Java and Spring frameworks. This position demands involvement in RESTful web service creation, database interaction via SQL and Hibernate, application testing and debugging, and conforming to architectural standards.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, improve, and support applications while resolving issues and fixing bugs.
• Translate functional requirements into robust technical implementations.
• Create test plans and conduct unit, functional, integration, and regression testing.
• Develop solutions aligned with technical specifications and infrastructure guidelines.
• Perform impact analysis, propose technical remedies, and estimate development efforts.
• Maintain application quality, performance, and adhere to development standards across the software development lifecycle.
• Document development activities and track progress using tools like Jira and Wiki.
• Collaborate with production release and support teams for deployment and ongoing maintenance.
• Monitor deliverables, communicate status updates to team leads, and escalate risks when necessary.
• Deliver assigned tasks and projects within deadlines.

Required Qualifications

• Proficient hands-on experience with Core Java versions 8, 9, 11, and 17, including application development and problem-solving.
• Experience working with the Spring Framework, particularly Spring Boot and Spring MVC.
• Practical experience using Hibernate ORM for database operations.
• Strong ability in creating and integrating RESTful web services.
• Solid knowledge of SQL and relational databases.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Maven and Jenkins for build and deployment processes.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes (K8s) container orchestration.
• Experience with Kafka messaging systems.
• Understanding of Shell scripting.
