Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Full Stack Software Engineer proficient in Java to develop, test, and maintain comprehensive application solutions encompassing both frontend and backend components. This role involves collaboration with diverse teams on resource augmentation assignments across Singapore, ensuring the delivery of robust software that aligns with business needs and technical standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret functional and technical specifications to develop detailed application designs and coding plans.
• Design, develop, test, and maintain application modules adhering to established quality and coding standards.
• Create full stack solutions utilizing Java for backend processes and modern frontend frameworks such as TypeScript, JavaScript, React, or Angular.
• Ensure all code complies with security best practices and guidelines.
• Investigate and resolve system errors, performing necessary corrections and testing to ensure optimal performance.
• Engage in system integration tasks and technical discussions to guarantee seamless end-to-end solution implementation.
• Collaborate with analysts, developers, testers, and stakeholders to support project milestones.
• Assist in system testing phases including system and user acceptance testing.
• Document project and system details thoroughly to support delivery and governance requirements.
• Address reported software issues promptly to maintain smooth production operations.
• Participate in professional development activities, such as workshops and training sessions, as directed by project leadership.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Strong backend development expertise in Java.
• Experience with at least one modern frontend framework, including TypeScript, JavaScript, React, or Angular.
• Demonstrated full stack development capabilities.
• Minimum of three years professional experience in software application development.
• Experience in enterprise or governmental software environments is preferred.
• Fluent communication in written and spoken English.
• Diploma or degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT, or related fields.

Desirable Skills and Certifications

• Knowledge or experience in AI technologies (considered an asset).
• Familiarity with additional backend technologies apart from Java.
• Relevant industry certifications, including Agile methodologies and ITIL Foundation.
