Position Overview
This full-time position based in Pune, Mumbai, Bangalore, or Hyderabad (hybrid work model) seeks an experienced Java Full Stack Developer skilled in AWS, with 7 to 10 years of professional background. The role focuses on designing, developing, testing, and deploying scalable enterprise applications using a modern Java full-stack technology suite.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, build, and maintain scalable enterprise-grade applications leveraging Java Full Stack technologies.
- Create responsive, high-performance web applications using contemporary front-end frameworks such as Angular or ReactJS.
- Develop and manage RESTful APIs and microservices architecture effectively.
- Implement cloud-native application solutions within the AWS ecosystem.
- Collaborate closely with cross-disciplinary teams including Business Analysts, Architects, QA, and DevOps engineers.
- Engage in code reviews, participate in design discussions, and provide technical mentoring.
- Optimize applications for enhanced performance, scalability, and security parameters.
- Diagnose and resolve production issues promptly to minimize downtime.
Technical Requirements
- Proficiency in backend technologies: Core Java (versions 8, 11, 17), Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, Hibernate/JPA.
- Experience developing RESTful web services and implementing microservices architecture.
- Frontend skills with Angular (preferred) or ReactJS, along with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Bootstrap.
- Cloud and DevOps expertise including AWS services (EC2, ECS, EKS, Lambda, S3, RDS, IAM, CloudWatch), containerization tools Docker and Kubernetes, plus CI/CD pipeline configuration via Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
- Strong database knowledge encompassing SQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL with attention to database design and query optimization.
- Version control experience using Git and build tools such as Maven or Gradle.
- Familiarity with Jira and Agile/Scrum methodologies for efficient project management and delivery.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
- 7-10 years practical experience in Java Full Stack development with considerable exposure to Spring Boot and microservices.
- Hands-on cloud development experience specific to AWS services and native cloud applications.
- Proven ability to work within Agile teams.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Preferred Expertise
- Relevant AWS certifications at Associate or Professional level.
- Familiarity with Kafka or other messaging systems.
- Experience with Terraform or Infrastructure as Code (IaC) approaches.
- Background in BFSI, FinTech, or Capital Markets domains.
- Knowledge of observability and monitoring tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, or ELK stack.
