Java Full Stack Engineer

About the Role

We seek an experienced Full Stack Engineer with 6 to 8 years of expertise in Java 11+, Angular 14+, TypeScript, cloud-native development, API integration, and database technologies including RDBMS and MongoDB. This role, based in Bengaluru, demands a strong foundation in computer science, excellent communication skills with clients, and capabilities to develop scalable, maintainable, and production-ready applications across frontend, backend, cloud, and DevOps domains.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, test, deploy, and maintain full stack applications using Java 11+, Spring Framework, Angular 14+, TypeScript, and JavaScript technologies.
• Create scalable backend services, APIs, and reusable business components emphasizing maintainability, security, and high performance.
• Construct responsive frontend modules with Angular 14+ employing OOP principles, reusable UI components, and clean integration.
• Design and implement cloud-native solutions on Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform aligned with project architecture.
• Manage data using RDBMS and MongoDB focusing on schema design, query optimization, and integration.
• Adopt agile development practices including code standards, source control, build automation, testing, CI/CD pipelines, and code reviews.
• Handle code promotion across Development, Testing, Staging, and Production environments and resolve CI/CD pipeline issues.
• Execute thorough unit, integration, system, and regression testing to ensure software quality and system stability.
• Utilize monitoring and logging tools like Splunk and Datadog for troubleshooting, observability, and application health monitoring.
• Employ AI-assisted development tools responsibly for assistance in coding, debugging, refactoring, documentation, and test generation while validating outputs rigorously.
• Interact and collaborate effectively with clients, architects, QA, DevOps, and team members maintaining clear communication and ownership.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or related discipline.
• 6 to 8 years of professional experience in software engineering involving relevant technologies.
• Strong computer science fundamentals, particularly object-oriented programming in JavaScript and software design.
• Advanced skills in Java programming (Java 11+), Spring Framework, and API development.
• Proficiency with databases, including RDBMS and MongoDB for application data management.
• Expertise in frontend development using Angular 14+, TypeScript, JavaScript, and OOP concepts.
• Experience designing cloud-native applications using Azure, AWS, or GCP and knowledge of DevOps tools such as CI/CD pipelines and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with software testing methodologies and monitoring/logging tools like Splunk and Datadog.
• Proven ability in AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Azure AI, Cursor, or CodeWhisperer, including validation practices.
• Excellent communication skills for client interaction and project collaboration.

Preferred Additional Skills

• Experience with Linux or macOS development environments.
• Working knowledge of Python programming language.
• Understanding of cloud cost optimization, security scanning, and performance tuning is advantageous.
• Experience collaborating with distributed teams and using remote collaboration technologies.
